Overview

Pedro respects user privacy. Public visitors do not need to create an account, log in, or submit personal information to read the public site.

Pedro is built to organize public-source incident references into structured records for trend analysis, mapping, preparedness awareness, and historical comparison. It is not built to profile visitors or trade in user data.

Server Logs and Technical Data

Like most websites, the server hosting Pedro may automatically process limited technical information needed to load pages, maintain security, prevent abuse, and operate the site.

This may include IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, referrers, and basic error or security logs. Pedro does not use this information to build user profiles for resale.

Cookies, Advertising, and Third-Party Services

Pedro may use third-party services, including Google AdSense, to display advertising or support basic site functionality. Third-party vendors may use cookies or similar technologies for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and personalized or non-personalized advertising.

Pedro does not directly control every cookie, identifier, or data collection technology used by third-party advertising or infrastructure providers.

User Choices

  • Users may control cookies through their browser settings
  • Users may manage Google ad personalization through Google Ads Settings
  • Some site features or third-party services may not work correctly if cookies are disabled

No Sale of Personal Information

Pedro does not sell personal information. Pedro does not operate a user-data brokerage, does not compile user profiles for resale, and does not collect visitor information for the purpose of selling it to advertisers.

External Links

Pedro links to external sources for verification and context, including public-safety agencies, government sources, local news, regional news, traffic sources, and other public references. Pedro does not control those external websites and is not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or advertising systems.

Incident Records

Pedro’s incident records are based on public-source references. Records may include general location, incident type, source title, source URL, timing information, verification status, and classification data already made public by the linked source.

Pedro does not collect private personal information from site visitors to create those records.

Children’s Privacy

Pedro is not directed toward children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
